Great tour with Nhi and Trong riding us around the countryside. We saw local people in their everyday lives. Noodle making, pottery, ride in a comical boat at the coconut village. Tra que herb farm was very nice and the basil seed and ginger drink was delightful. Also had a great lunch at a local spot. The girls were fantastic company and showed they really enjoy their jobs. A must do in Hoi an.
We had a fantastic time with Nhi and Trong, riding around the local countryside. We had a coffee and walked around Tra Que Herb Villiage, , then saw rice noodles being made and had a go ourselves. We also went to the local pottery village and made some pottery by hand, this was fun. Then stopped at the coconut village and had a ride in a corical boat which was fun. Finally we had a lovely lunch with the girls. The best part of the tour was getting to know Nhi and Tong and learning more about them and local like. Loved the whole day.
After enjoying the wonderful street food and city tours by I Love Hue, I knew I had to go on more tours with the sister company I Love Hoi An. I booked the countryside and My Son tours, and both were fabulous.
For the countryside tour, I was picked up by Thao, a lovely university student. Ms. Lien, the founder of I Love Hoi An and I Love Hue, joined us on the road. We had a marvelous day, which included a tour of an organic garden, lessons in how to make pottery and rice noodles, and a peaceful boat ride through a coconut village. We also had delicious banh mi for lunch. All the people I met on the tour were so kind and welcoming. It was a perfect day. I had the best time with Thao and Ms. Lien and learned that everyone is “dep” (beautiful).
Ms. Lien and Ni, another sweet university student, drove me on the My Son tour. They were such troopers during the 3-hour (1.5 hours one way) drive. It was a scorching hot day, but Ms. Lien and Ni kept smiles on their faces throughout the tour. I learned about the history of the Champa people and Hinduism in Vietnam. Even in the heat, My Son was stunning. For lunch, Ms. Lien and Ni taught me how to eat my quang, a must-have dish in Hoi An.
I can’t say enough good things about I Love Hoi An (and Hue). From the time of booking to the drive back to my hotel, the guides were top notch. They are careful drivers: some crazy bikers, buses, and trucks passed us, but I fully trusted Ms. Lien, Thao, and Ni. The team is young, energetic, and creative. It was a pleasure listening to their stories and ideas.
We did the I ❤️Hoi An Countryside Tour with our wonderful guides Nhi and Anh. As locals the girls provided us with an insight into life in Hoi An, they were knowledgeable and lots of fun. The tour takes in four villages around Hoi An and you learn how noodles are made and get to try your hand at pottery. The tour was well paced and we felt safe on the bikes behind the girls at all times. Would highly recommend the I ❤️Hoi An Tours. Well done ladies.Don’t hesitate to book a tour with I Love Hoi An. The tours were easily among the best I’ve taken anywhere. Many thanks to Ms. Lien, Thao, Ni, and the rest of the team – you are all “dep”!
Fun, educational and definitely worth doing!
I did the half day countryside tour with Thao and Anh recently and it was really enjoyable. The girls were safe drivers, friendly, fun and shared their local knowledge. I learnt a lot and had a fantastic day. The boat ride on the river was very special with little gifts from the river guides. Thanks Anh for keeping me safe on your motorbike in the busy traffic 🙂
We love the Lady Bikers! My friend and I choose the countryside tour and asked if we could also visit an orphanage. Well, along came our amazing tour guides/biker ladies and off we went. First stop was Tra Que garden restaurant. This is a beautiful organic farm and restaurant along with a cooking school. What a lovely place to start! We then went to another location to learn how to make traditional rice noodles. Our next stop was at the Cahm Thahn Village for a ride in a round bamboo basket boat. And then we went back into the town of Hoi An, and shopped at the market for things to bring to the children in the orphanage. And as beautiful as the countryside was, the real beauty was with the children. The room we visited had a children with special needs. And this is where the magic began! It was so obvious that Nhi (one of our tour guides) and our other guide had visited this place on many occasions, the children were thrilled to see them. We spent about an hour there, playing cards, hugging, talking, laughing and having fun. I highly recommend the Lady Bikers of Hoi An as your tour guides.
